KnitAid News Blog
Because this website is under construction and many parts are not finished, this blog will inform you of recently added content. I will also use it for announcements and future plans.
Set up the module for More Time to Knit which is for Registered users only. Included in the moduke are a site that helps organize house work as well as recipes that are fast and easy.
Site put on line.
Set up the module for subscribing to some of the available Knitting Newsletters. Newsletters are just delivered to your inbox. These newsletters rely on the company gathering information, writing articles, and then sending you the newletter. While RSS feeds are a faster way of keeping up to date, newsletters are easier as they are simply delivered to your inbox.
This week was spent developing RSS feeds which can be incoming news to your reader or outgoing news from my site. These feeds are the fastest way of keeping up to date because they appear in yiiur inbox as soon as they are published.
Examples of incoming RSS feeds are shown in Knitting RSS News and contain blogs as well as news from knitting related companies that want to keep yiou updated on what is happening in their world. The KnitAid RSS outgoing feed is located at the bottom of the KnitAid Progress module.
Google "RSS Feeds in Plain English" for a great explanantion of RSS Feeds. Several browsers no longer support RSS Feeds, so a third party site is needed. Feedly is a popular option.
