Increase by knitting in front and back of first stitch of every row, knit
2 balls Noro Silk Garden
Needles: size 9
Finished size: 5 inches wide, 46 inches long
Cast on 1 stitch. This is the bottom left corner of the image.
First Section: Increase by knitting in front and back of first stitch of every row, knit remaining stitches. Continue adding a stitch every row until 29 stitches are on the needle. This completes the bottom left triangle.
Middle sections: increase in first stitch, SSK next two together, turn and knit back.
Next row: Increase in first stitch, knit 1, SSK, turn and knit back.
For following rows, *increase in first stitch, knit across to last stitch, SSK, turn and knit back*. When last stitch is joined, do not turn. Start next middle section.
Estimate how much yarn is needed for one middle section. When less than enough yarn is left for a middle section, finish by knitting the last section.
Last section: work as for middle section until 15 stitches have been joined. Instead of increasing at the beginning of the row, decrease by SSK. When 3 stitches remain, K3 tog. Work in ends. Block gently.
