2 large cans of chicken broth
½ package frozen chopped spinach
1 small can white meat chicken
1 cup stars pasta (or any small pasta shape)
¼ pound ground hamburger
1 egg
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ pound seasoned Italian bread crumb
Bring broth to a boil. Cook and drain spinach. Mix ground meat, egg, bread crumbs, and Parmesan cheese; make small meatballs and cook under broiler until done. Add pasta to boiling broth and cook until done; can add meatballs and chicken at the same time. When pasta is done, add cooked spinach.
Hints: You can always substitute any homemade ingredients that are available. You can cook the meat mixture loose in a skillet. Meatballs are prettier but the cooked loose mix tastes better. Can add a third can of broth or more pasta depending on how hearty you want the soup. Freezes well.
